Sanguine Cider

Who knew that a hard cider is a delicious addition to your Bloody Mary? We've been having fun mixing up what we're calling "sanguine ciders" in collaboration with local cideries around Virginia.

(Trey came up with the name. Now it's a thing. Get on board)

We did a pop-up with our friends at Courthouse Creek Cider here in Richmond, and put together this delicious Bloody Mary riff that's bright, bubbly, and dangerously quaffable. Stop by Courthouse's tasting room in Scott's Addition each weekend for Sanguine Ciders and Cider Mimosas!

You Will Need:

4oz Bloody Brilliant 6oz Courthouse Creek Endless Summer cider 2oz Sho Chiku Bai sake Lime, for garnish ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Method:

Fill a 16oz glass halfway with ice (and yes, that Courthouse Creek glass is in fact an epic 16oz). Add Bloody Brilliant, Courthouse Creek cider, sake, and a splash of lime juice. Stir well to combine. Garnish with a lime wedge. Cheers!
